The newly refurbished Lazy Oaf London store
Last week Lazy Oaf took to their London store and gave it more than just a lick of paint. We headed down with camera in hand to see what had changed.
The most noticeable thing that hits you straight away is the maturity of the new shop fit. It still holds plenty of that trademark Lazy Oaf playful character, but it seems more in line with the direction that the brand has taken more recently and looks set to be heading in the future.
Blocks of marble and foam present a stylish touch with a playful contradiction, working well with the square metal display units and giant wooden cheese boards.
This marriage of playful creativity and more mature materials works so well and it’s a welcome direction for both the store and the brand.
We strongly recommend popping your head in the store if you’re in the Carnaby area and soaking up the atmosphere.
