Our temporary installation for the iconic British brand Dr. Martens is designed to showcase their latest product collections and provide a launch pad for their 'First and Forever' campaign, which is based around people's memories of their first ever pair of Dr. Martens.
The installation provides a multi-sensorial experience, using sight, sound, smell and touch to connect the consumer with the spirit of the Dr. Martens brand.
The concept artfully combines the industrial with a sense of refinement, in keeping with the premium retail setting of Selfridges.
Expressing the 'art of industrial manufacture' the boots are displayed in raw metal cages and on glass cabinets filled with rubber compound beads and metal eyelets; left open they allow materials to be handled and aromas to permeate the air, whilst iPads provide a glimpse behind the scenes.
