Sandast's LA flagship store
The Downtown LA flagship of leather goods brand Sandast is more than just a store. The 4,000-square-foot space, which used to be an auto garage, is also founder and designer Milan Franeta's factory. Like the bags Franeta creates, the brick-walled space has a throwback feel: an old timey cash register, lots of antique trunks, black-and-white photos, an industrial paper cutting table, sewing machines and more found and salvaged items are scattered about. Per a release, alongside its own leather goods the store will offer clothes and accessories from some of Franeta's favorite brands like Redwing boots, Nudie jeans, G-Star shirts and Thom Browne sunglasses.
