Louis Vuitton opens Maison flagship store in Munich
Louis Vuitton is inaugurating on April 25 its first Maison flagship in Germany – the Louis Vuitton Maison Residenzpost in Munich, within an imposing heritage mixed use building at the corner of Maximilianstraß and Residenzstraße. Designed by famed German architect Leo von Klenze and commissioned by King Ludwig I of Bavaria the building used to house the very first post office in Germany which was opened in 1838 ( 16 years before the foundation of the house of Louis Vuitton in Paris)
Louis Vuitton Maison Residenzpost in Munich covers 1.400 sqm on 3 floors, featuring the Maison Haute Maroquinerie service offered for the first time in Germany, which allows customers to personalize a specific Vuitton bag according to their own taste. Other premieres for Germany include the Ecriture collection of exclusive writing instruments and stationery, as well as made-to-order shoes and belts for men. The store also features: ready to wear, high jewellery, shoes, eyewear, bags etc.
The new Louis Vuitton store includes Espace Louis Vuitton Munchen a space dedicated to arts, with permanent and temporary exhibitions. The new Vuitton Maison in Munich is the 19th such select flagship store of the brand, worldwide.
