London: Louis Vuitton store
As you know, Louis Vuitton has started dabbling in hospitality for a little while now, and it looks like the end has yet to be seen. The luxury behemoth has opened a new store in London, well, at London Heathrow Airport to be exact, and interestingly, it’s one attached to a matching plush café. Situated on the airside of Terminal 2, the dual venue sits in a futuristic open-air pavilion which features a façade designed in collaboration with New York City-based French architect Marc Fornes of art and architecture studio THEVERYMANY. The Louis Vuitton store sees an interior design that’s compatible with most of the brand’s other stores, featuring whitewashed walls, light timber furnishings and fixtures, and an intricately crafted filigrain-inspired ceiling with the brand’s geometric floral monogram. The merchandise includes womenswear, as well as men’s accessories and leather goods.
