Jigsaw concept store by Dalziel & Pow
In a radical departure for fashion retailer Jigsaw, the new Duke Street Emporium in London features a multibrand, shop-in-shop from The Shop at Bluebird (the group's fashion and lifestyle boutique on King's Road), a full representation of Jigsaw's women's, men's and junior ranges, as well as an in-store cafe operated by Fernandez and Wells, alongside art installations created by emerging artists.
The concept store occupies the ground and basement floors of a refurbished Queen Anne building, located close to Oxford Street in the West End.
he design, developed in collaboration with Dalziel & Pow, embraces the existing brick-lined architecture, offset against a textural monochrome box where the character of the brand is expressed through found furniture and commissioned artwork.
'In an age increasingly focused upon digital media, the store will offer an unrivalled experience: not reliant on gadgets or gizmos this truly is a return to the shopping experience as a pleasure,' said a spokesperson for Jigsaw prior to the launch.
