New Bond Street, a perfect destination for Miu Miu’s new London based flagship store.
You are lead into the newly opened space by means of a studded steel revolving door set into marble. Inside, a playfully ironic “bank vault” references the preciousness of each individual Miu Miu design.
A vast range of women’s ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and shoes are available to view from “safe” display cases surrounded by the Miu Miu signature of gold damask, polished brass and glass. Each piece is treated like a treasure waiting to be found amongst the treasure trove that spans over 370 square metres split over two floors.
The store design was conceived by architect Roberto Baciocchi whose use of “safes” as display cabinets and a “jewellery box” lift as a way of accessing the second floor bring the true luxuriousness of the brand to fruition.
The Miu Miu resort collection will debut here complemented by a selection of ready-to-wear, shoes and bags each stamped with “London New Bond Street Special Edition” and exclusive to the store.
