F95: Berlin fashion store
Founded by the organisers of PREMIUM Berlin, the F95 FASHION STORE first opened its doors in 2005. Despite being located in the up-and-coming district of Friedrichshain, far away from the glamour of central Berlin’s Ku’damm or Friedrichstrasse, the store has quickly become a sought-after destination by the city’s hipsters and fashion-savvy.
Evoking the aesthetic of a gallery with white-washed walls and cement flooring, the 300 square meter-space of F95 stocks a lovingly selected portfolio of approximately 40 men’s and women’s wear designers. The selection covers everything from streetwear to high-end and includes an array of innovative, Berlin-based designers and international labels such as Bernhard Willhelm, April 77 and Unconditional.
Known within the industry for his discerning eye, Slavko Felkar curated the store, choosing to stock not just clothing but also a range of hand-picked accessories, cosmetics, jewelry, CDs, DVDs, books, and even teas and chocolates.
“We had a very concrete idea for a destination store – a shopping mecca – something which, like our trade fair PREMIUM, unites all facets of fashion and lets our spirit come alive”, explains Anita Tillmann, co-founder of the PREMIUM Fashion Trade Fair.
Furthermore, the store was conceived as a platform for hosting events throughout Berlin Fashion Week and provides an exciting schedule of launches and special presentations throughout the year.
