Dolce & gabbana men's store opening in London
Men’s fashion week in London gained new momentum, and Dolce & Gabbana added up to the increased frenzy with the opening of a store on new Bond street – mind you, it’s the brand’s fourth outlet in the city – and a presentation of its S/S 2014 tailoring collection. Dedicated entirely to men’s tailoring, the store is part of a new retail strategy that envisages the development of special stores with one of a kind interiors that not only reflect Dolce & Gabbana’s signature Italian style but also reference the identity and traditions of the cities in which they are located. And in this case, a lavish décor has been crafted that blends British and Italian sartorial traditions, and is marked by quirky contemporary accents.
Spread over three floors, shoppers can indulge in Dolce & Gabbana’s full range of men’s suits, tuxedos, jackets, in addition to matching footwear and accessories collections. And in case you wondered, the services of men’s bespoke tailors are readily available, as is a full-fledged traditional barber shop for that finishing touch. To celebrate the opening, a platoon of models, all clad in sharply-cut suits from the brand’s S/S 2014 tailoring collection, paraded from the nearby Claridge’s hotel towards the store where they continued the show for a group of invitees.
