The store concept needed to attract a skate-and-surf subculture—plus moms.
For the flagship, we adopted a five-and-dime concept—adding a ‘street’ twist. We aged new fixtures to 50 years, then layered them in graffiti and reclaimed timber walls. The plywood floor curves upward, creating a half-pipe surface for skateboard “shelves.†We capped all of this by theatrical lighting and music elements.
