CAMPERLAB has unveiled its first standalone store in Paris, marking a bold new chapter for the brand under the creative direction of Achilles Ion Gabriel. Situated at 15 rue Debelleyme in Le Marais, the space is a striking embodiment of the label’s unconventional ethos, designed by Crosby Studios to push the boundaries of retail architecture.
The store’s brutalist-inspired design gives new meaning to the term “hole-in-the-wall,” featuring raw concrete structures and strategically placed openings that create an interplay of visibility and intrigue.
The design, led by Crosby Studios’ founder Harry Nuriev, embraces the firm’s signature aesthetic of sleek greyscale surfaces and polished chrome accents. The store is constructed with a transformative approach, Crosby Studios embeds CAMPERLAB’s fixtures within sculptural concrete elements, reshaping the way customers interact with the products. From the exterior, passersby glimpse fragmented views through shattered concrete openings, drawing them into the futuristic retail environment.
Crosby Studios, known for its work between New York and Paris, has previously lent its avant-garde touch to retail spaces for FRAME and Alexander Wang. Their collaboration with CAMPERLAB reinforces the brand’s distinct visual language, fusing contemporary brutalism with a raw industrial feel. The Paris store acts as both a retail hub and an experiential space, immersing visitors in a sensory-driven shopping experience that reflects CAMPERLAB’s forward-thinking identity.
