Camper Postcard shop
We have opened the fourteenth Camper store in the United States on The Magnificent Mile – the most prestigious section of Michigan Avenue in Chicago. This important commercial artery attracts stores of the most prestigious companies, luxury hotels, restaurants, and the new Camper Postcard Shop designed by Martí Guixé from Barcelona.
When you make a purchase you are given a stamp and you can write on one of the postcards and send it off.
The concept – already established in Brussels, Istanbul and Copenhagen among other cities – is based on interaction with the public through the postcards that can be found on the store walls. When you make a purchase you are given a stamp and you can write on one of the postcards and send it off. A real vintage postal service that will traverse space and time to reach its destination.
Martí Guixé has a creative mind, and has developed concepts for Camper such as Meeting Point (Barcelona, Munich, Amsterdam), Info-Shops (London, San Francisco) and the temporary store Walk in Progress (Milan, 2000).
