Boutique 1 designed by Caulder Moore
Middle Eastern luxury fashion retailer, Boutique 1 has opened its first European store on London's Sloane Street. Spread across two floors, the Caulder Moore-designed store houses ready-to-wear, accessories, eveningwear, beachwear, fine jewellery and books, as well as a cafe created by Pablo Flack and David Waddington of London restaurant Bistrotheque.
The store design concept is inspired by Boutique 1's 'unparalleled service, exclusivity and distinctive fashion viewpoint'. The interior has a pared back design, allowing the product to take centre stage.
'The store design is understated and discreetly luxurious, providing a quiet backdrop to allow the collections to speak for themselves,' says Ziad Matta, co-Founder and co-CEO of Boutique 1 Group.
Ian Caulder, exec creative director at Caulder Moore, adds: 'We worked with Boutique 1 to create a gallery-like atmosphere for the edit of designers that while luxury is also quite contemporary. The space is very flexible so certain lines and new designers can be highlighted rather like staging a new exhibition.'
Boutique 1 also has stores in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Beirut.
