Belstaff Unveils New King Street Manchester Store
On August 23rd, Belstaff’s new Manchester store will open its doors, unveiling a reimagined space that carries on the design concept first introduced at the Regent Street flagship in September 2023. This is the next phase in an exciting chapter of the brand’s product and design evolution, as it continues to celebrate 100 years since its founding.
Located just a stone’s throw from Belstaff’s original Manchester store, the brand’s new Northern home on 48 King Street is set across two floors, including an intimate VIP and event space. As with the Regent Street flagship, Staffordshire Blue floor tiles pay tribute to the brand’s hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and hand-sewn oak furniture pieces are crafted by Studio Fonk.
The initial design concept was conceived in collaboration with the Scandinavian architecture and interior design studio Specific Generic (Acne, On Running). The concept for the store began with the notion of a “future garage”, drawing inspiration from Belstaff’s diverse motoring heritage and history of innovation while envisioning what this means in a new era. Materials have been carefully selected to convey the underlying tensions between old and new, and constancy and change, which still underpin the brand today.
The store will house Belstaff seasonal and Belstaff Motorcycle collections for both men and women, as well as accessories and footwear. The new Autumn/Winter 2024 and collection and Centenary capsule will also be arriving in drops over August and September.
