he may only be 32 years old, but alexandre mattiussi already has some extraordinary experience under his belt. after graduating from école duperré in paris, the fashion designer has worked for illustrious brands such as dior, givenchy and marc jacobs, and in 2011 he decided to launch his very own menswear brand ami. mattiussi's line is marked by classic silhouettes with a contemporary approach, resulting in effortless looks that - as the designer claims - are meant for real people, not fashion victims. mattiussi's has gained quite a following both on home turf and abroad, and he has now taken his operations to the next level by launching his own ami boutique in the french capital. located on the edge of the marais area, one of the city's most popular shopping grounds, the store has been designed by karl fournier and olivier marty of design practice studio ko. measuring 75 sqm.
